Handling the Game of Craps

The gaming table of craps can be one of the most challenging casino table games on the gaming floor. It is complex and crowded by a lot of people all the time who cheer each other every time someone wins in the game. The sounds of the game can also be pretty intimidating especially for a beginner.

Gambling books can pretty much help you to decide on what casino game to play like baccarat, poker, blackjack and others when you get the chance to play in a casino at the Las Vegas strip. If you are the type of player that wants a slow pace game, then baccarat is for you. If you want to play a fast moving and exciting game, then roulette and craps is for you.

In craps, a casino table is around 12 feet to 14 ft long. It can accommodate about 10 to 13 gamblers and a maximum of 16 players. There are some staff that handles the game like the stickman, dealers, pit boss and craps table game head. The pit boss usually observes the craps tables that have some game going on.

They are also the head boss of a gaming area that has four or more casino tables. The stick man's job is to give the dices to the craps shooter and announces the number that comes out of the dice roll. The side dealers will handle the players that are place on either side of the table.

The dealer also observes the craps dealer, craps shooter and rewards the cash prizes. The craps board or layout is where you are required to place down your wagers. You have the choice of wagering for a number or against a particular number. The place where come wagers are place is in the come bar and if some numbers like five you are now betting that the number five will come up again before a seven shows up.

You can only bet on the bar of the come wager after the craps shooter made their point number. The bar for the Do Not Come Wager which is feature a lot smaller compared with 10" is a lot different compared with the Bar of the Come Wager. The Bar Field is a single roll of the dice bet, if one your numbers come out you will win.

The numbers that are included in this wager are two, three, four, nine, ten, eleven and twelve. Most casinos pay 2/12 double the bet, some give out triple of that amount on the twelve. The Pass and Do Not Pass Line is the wager that you put down at the beginning of each game. The large six and eight is the bet for those pair of numbers only. You can win even cash if either the six or eight comes out during the roll.

Some players may call this a weak wager but it can also be a good technique to counter some other bet on the table. The other bets on the center of the craps board are of a single roll of the dice, if the number that you have chosen have come out, you will win, if not, you will lose. But the chance of getting this numbers makes the wager very attractive.
